There are two types of bars in Phnom Penh. There are hostess bars (girlie bars) and the regular bars. Hostess bars have many beautiful girls who are hoping customers will buy them a drink.  The girls make money from every drink a customer buys them.  The girls at some hostess bars are very pushy and make the customers feel uncomfortable. Some of the girlie bars hava a policy that the girls cannot ask for a drink or be pushy. Most of the girls are available to take away from the bar to your hotel room or apartment for more private entertainment.  At the bars, the girls will be very affectionate hoping that they will be rewarded with more drinks.

The regular bars and lounges are geared towards selling drinks, snacks and food to customers. Providing entertainment in a relaxed comfortable setting.  Many have live music or at least a DJ playing music for your entertainment.  Some of these bars have girls who are looking for a man either for a relationship of a one-night-adventure. These bars are always a good time and will aid in your therapeutic needs.
